- Strengthen the capacities of women’s and mixed organizations for participation in macroeconomic decisions and trade negotiations.
- Incorporate the gender perspective to analyze and evaluate the differential impacts between men and women in trade agreements and to develop alternative proposals.
- Contribute to the development of research aimed at understanding the relationship between gender and international trade.
- Generate synergies with other social organizations and networks in the region and the world to influence the dynamics of trade negotiations at sector, national and regional level.
The plan of action is to promote initiatives related to the gender perspective in the negotiation processes of the agreements and to strengthen and train the women’s movement to influence the national or regional institutional mechanisms of economic integration.
